Indication:

Ceftiofur is a new generation antibiotic effective treatment for respiratory infection, pneumonia, hemorragic septicemia (pasteurellosis), typhoid fever (salmonellosis), metritis, mastitis in buffalo, cattle, sheep, goat, dog, cat and poultry.

Dosage and administration:

Inject once a day for 3-5 days.

- Pig: intramuscular 1 ml per 15 – 20 kg of body weight per day.

- Piglet: intramuscular 1 ml per 10 – 15 kg of body weight per day.

- Buffalo, cattle: 1 – 2 ml per 50 kg of body weight per day by intramuscular or subcutaneous routes.

- Goat, sheep: 1 ml per 22 kg of body weight per day, intramuscular.

- Chicken, duck: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight per day, subcutaneous.

- Dog, cat: 1 ml per 15 kg of body weight per day, by intramuscular or subcutaneous routes.
